Bioethics

People have different viewpoints about health care issues. You and your family may be faced with medical care decisions that have no right or wrong answers.

Sometimes these are decisions about a way of dying or the quality of a person’s life and could include decisions about stopping or refusing medical treatment.

It’s important for you to feel confident that you are making decisions that are best for you. You may consider consulting our Los Angeles Medical Center Bioethics Committee for help when faced with difficult medical decisions. Someone will be available to receive the information for review.

You can contact a member of our bioethics committee by paging 323-279-1130 for more information.

If you have questions about whether you should use the Bioethics Committee, please call and discuss your concerns with our representative.
